Rocky soils can damage roller rings, reducing efficiency in the field, but the new cast steel roller rings from HE-VA are designed to withstand these types of loads. The rings are made from cast steel, which means they have a good fundamental strength and they are also equipped with 8, 9 or 10 spokes, which distribute the load across the entire ring, minimising the risk of breakage.
"We have great confidence in our cast steel roller rings and know that they can cope with extreme conditions and loads, and by extending our breakage warranty from 2 to 8 years, we have demonstrated that we vouch 100% for the rings’ quality. We also provide our clients around the world with security when they buy a roller from HE-VA," says Villy Christiansen, CEO of HE-VA.
HE-VA's cast steel roller ring with a diameter of 620 mm and 10 spokes was voted the best by Swedish NilehnTeknik earlier this year, and the proven durability means that HE-VA is now able to extend the breakage warranty to eight years - one of the longest breakage warranties in the industry.
In the wake of the extra-long breakage warranty period of the cast steel roller rings, HE-VA is also extending the breakage warranty on Cambridge Rings, Star Rings and 2D Wave Rings, which now come with a 5-year breakage warranty. The remaining rings in the range, including all rings with 3 spokes, come with a 3-year breakage warranty.
The new, extended breakage guarantees on roller rings will come into force from January 1, 2019.
