HE-VA IS LOOKING TOWARDS THE FUTURE

Machine Manufacturer Increases Capacity

HE-VA is looking towards the future and securing capacity.

The last few years’ events, and the current situation in Ukraine, have highlighted some of the challenges that manufacturers in general are facing. The pandemic halted manufacturing and caused delivery challenges around the world, only to be further hampered by the war in Ukraine.

These are the challenges that HE-VA ApS is looking to avoid in the future. Back in the beginning of March, a major construction project was therefore initiated and now, two months later, the steel construction is standing.

The building extends over 1,800 m2 and is intended for a warehouse that will be used for profile and plate storage as well as for cutting. This means that HE-VA, in the fall, can begin increasing the storage capacity and in the future secure better delivery times for the customers.

”Right now, we have a delivery time that extends over 18 weeks and that is simply too long. We want to secure that we can work our way back to a more stable situation, and we can do that by increasing our storage capacity. It is simply a safeguard for the future.” says Adm. Director, Villy Christiansen.

Of course, a celebration was in order, which was held on Friday 6 May 2022 with approximately 150-200 attendees.

”It is just great when there is support for an event like this and we appreciate that our employees from both Nykøbing and Ørding want to participate” says Technical Director, Heine Christiansen
